2.2.2 Clip battery downward into the holder.
2.2.3 After a waiting time of approx. 3 seconds, remove this incorrectly polarized battery again.
2.3 Install battery as described under Step 1.3.
2.4 Check the function of the remote control.

Information:
As of model year 2000, all visible interior plastic trim parts are coated with soft-look paint. The following information should be used when
cleaning interior parts coated with soft-look paint.
WARNING!
Damage to the soft-look paint can occur if cleaning agents or solvents, available as accessories for cleaning vehicle interior; are used.
> This also applies to the use of plastic polish, part number, 999 901 021 41 from the Porsche car care kit.

The following procedures have been approved for cleaning interior parts coated with soft-look paint:
Note:
Always use a gentle wiping motion when cleaning soft-look interior parts. Do not apply pressure!
^ For low soiling (dust) use soft household sponge to apply clear water.
^ For high soiling (oily and greasy dirt) use soft lint-free cloth to apply clear water with small amount of liquid soap added (commercially
available) or use interior window cleaner, part number, 999 901 016 41 from the Porsche car care kit. If necessary use clear water to remove
any remaining residue.
