CAUSE Headrest design PROCEDURE 1. The headrest in picture A is lowered all the way down at the factory. This simplifies the seat installation and reduces damage on the production line. The headrest operation should be checked during PDI, and, once raised, the headrest will no longer lower down to the "installation" height. This is normal headrest operation and no repairs are needed. No new vehicle should be delivered to the customer with the front headrests in the "installation" position. 2. The headrest in picture B is in the correct lowered height position. WARRANTY INFORMATION Not applicable.
