Various Simultaneous Electrical Problems

SITUATION
The following failures occur simultaneously:
^ The tailgate, tailgate window or trunk lid release is inoperative
^ The electric unlocking of the glove compartment is inoperative (E93, E70 and E71 only)
^ SCA contact (Soft Close Automatic) is inoperative (E70 and E71 only)
^ The JBBFE-3R (Junction box) control module does not enter sleep mode
CAUSE
There is a software error in the JBBFE-3R control module. Very intermittently, the JBBFE-3R wakes up in bootloader mode instead of application
mode.
[NEW] CORRECTION
Perform diagnostics with ISTA and work through any related test modules.
Program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.37.0 or later.
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
