Repositioning Harness After Seat Motor Replacement

Equipped with comfort seats (SA 456)
SITUATION
When replacement of the drive motor for the comfort seat back width adjustment becomes necessary, the seat harness requires further modification
because it has changed.
CAUSE
The 4-inch extension harness that was attached to the old motor has now been eliminated.
PROCEDURE
Follow the attached procedure, which provides supplementary instructions when replacing the comfort seat backrest width adjustment motor.
Note:
This procedure needs to be carried out while the seat is still removed as part of the motor replacement, and only when the replacement motor is not
equipped with the extension harness.
