CAUSE The gap between the drip molding and the A-pillar is excessive or uneven. PROCEDURE 1. Confirm the noise is coming from the front windshield, near the left and/or right A-pillar area. 2. If a gap is seen between the affected A-pillar and the drip molding. the molding must be replaced. Refer to ISTA Repair Instruction 51 31 030, "Remove and install or replace the left or right side gutter strip."
