Noise from the Door Panel when Closing the Door

E70 (X5) produced up to 9/2009
E71 (X6) produced up to 9/2009
SITUATION
When closing one or more of the doors, a rattle and/or ticking noise can be heard from the door panel. The felt tape which isolates the door panel
from the door inner structure has separated.
[NEW] PROCEDURES
The problem has been integrated into ISTA diagnostics. Follow the diagnosis test plan, using the latest ISTA version.
In "Information Search", select the "Function Structure" tab. Select Body, Mechanism, Noises and press "Start Search".
Select test plan "B5140_E70MECH1" Door noises E70.
[NEW] CORRECTION
Refer to ISTA diagnosis for the required repair procedure.
