SUBJECT

Seat Adjustment when Unlocking

MODEL

E64 (6 Series Convertible)

INFORMATION

The seat adjustment logic, which is activated when the vehicle is unlocked, changed in 9/2007.

^ [NEW] For vehicles produced between 9/2007 and 3/2009, the "Last seat position after unlocking" setting in the CID is present, but is no longer

active. The selection is grayed out and cannot be selected.

^ [NEW]For vehicles produced from 3/2009, the selection is not present.

^ [NEW]For vehicles from all production dates, the "Last seat position after opening the door" selection is still available, and can be turned on or

off.

In addition, this change was implemented in Progman V27.0. Therefore, when programming and coding an E64 produced prior to 9/2007, using

either Progman or ISTA/P, the "Last seat position after unlocking" selection will no longer be available.

This running change was made intentionally, and it is not possible to retrofit this feature.
