If a code is generated, only the buckle for the side with the fault should be replaced. Also re-route the grounding for the faulty belt buckle:

Driver's side

Disconnect wire from connector X16 pin B8 (BR wire), run a separate wire from this connector direct to airbag ground point directly behind the

airbag control module on the right hand side of the tunnel.

Passenger's side

Disconnect wire from connector X17 pin BB (BR wire), run a separate wire from this connector direct to airbag ground point directly behind the

airbag control module on the right hand side of the tunnel.
