Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Terminal change and request for adaptation
Terminal condition: Terminal 15 ON
Voltage condition:
Voltage in onboard electrical system >= 10 V
Condition for fault memory entry
none
Action in service
1) Check: Sum of throttle valve voltages must equal 5 V,
2) Perform electrical check on wires to throttle valve
sensors,
visual inspection of plug-in terminals (at components,
wiring harness and DME),
3) Check to determine whether objects that could physically
prevent the throttle valve from closing are present in the
intake manifold or throttle valve,
4) Replace component
