Condition for fault identification



Test condition:



Coolant temperature > 86 锟斤拷C, Coolant temperature at



radiator discharge >40 锟斤拷C --> meaning thermostat is



certainly open and the EAC sensor in valid temperature



range



Terminal condition: none



Voltage condition:



UBatt >10 V



Condition for fault memory entry



at least twice (more often as required) Drive at least 30 sec.



as during acceleration from rest in urban traffic



Action in service



Check temperature gradient (Service Test); install new



sensor as indicated
