Introduction of LCM III

General Information:
A new Lamp Control Module (LCM III) was introduced into series production from 9/98.
The earlier (LCM II) module was recognizable by its large external aluminum heat-sink. The new (LCM III) module is all plastic construction with
no external heat-sink.
The LCM III is retrofittable on earlier vehicles and will replace LCM II when parts stocks are used up.
