Model Year 2000 and later Wheel and Tire Applications

SITUATION:



The wheel and tire application charts previously supplied as attachments to annual bulletins are now available via the KSD CD that is provided to all



centers on a regular basis. The initial CD to contain this information is the 04/2000 version that is currently at all centers.



The application data for the current model year will be updated with subsequent CDs as the information becomes available. Information for previous



model years will not be updated.



Note:



Information for M vehicles and wheels is not on the current CD. This information will be incorporated in later versions of the CD.



PROCEDURE



In order to utilize this new feature, your DCS 2000 network must be loaded with Netscape Communicator 4.05 or higher, or Microsoft Internet



Explorer 4.0 or higher.



-- Click on the "Wheel/Tyre Combi." folder icon to connect to the wheel/tyre combination homepage. Please read the "General Information



"which provides valuable information on the use of the homepage.



-- Click on the model on the left hand side of the page.



-- Click on the file folder that aligns with the model year and body style you are researching.



-- Click on the model group that covers the model you are researching. This will bring you directly to the page for that model, listing all of the



approved wheel sizes. Pay close attention to all footnotes.



-- Click on the "Tyre Makes "tab on the left side of the page to access the approved tire listings.



-- Click on the folder icon for the appropriate model under "Summer" or "Winter" as required, and the listing of approved tires that corresponds



to the approved wheel sizes will come up.



Note:



All-Season listings for US and Canadian markets will usually appear first. Not all tires listed may be available in the US.



You may print out information from the available listings for reference. However, these prints should be discarded whenever a new KSD CD is
