Brake Squeal

Situation:

Some E46s (323i, 325i, and 328i) equipped with Textar front brake pads may experience a squeal under certain braking conditions.
Correction:
Depending on driving conditions, occasional brake squeal is normal. In cases of persistent brake squeal with a customer complaint, replace the front
brake pads with Jurid 620 compound pads, part number 34 11 6 752 482 and the rear pads with part number 34 21 1 164 501. Clean and lubricate all
metal to metal contact points with Bostik Never-Seez(r).
Note:
Failure to use Bostik Never-Seez(r), or use of other products such as
Plastilube to lubricate the contact points, will result in an ineffective repair. Refer to S.I. 00 08 99 to source Never-Seez(r).
Please submit a Quality Control Information sheet (Pink Sheet) for each repair, describing the effectiveness of the repair.
