SITUATION
When activating the turn signals, a Check Control (CC) message "Front right/left indicator light failed" is displayed.
At the same time, a fault is stored in the Footwell Module (FRM3); either fault code 800F42 for the left side or 800F43 for the right side. On any
particular vehicle, either one or both faults may be stored.
CAUSE
FRM software
CORRECTION
Perform ISTA diagnostics using ISTA D2.22 or later. The stored faults will generate test plan AT6300_FRM3FRA (Turn signal lamp LED/Hazard
warning light switch). Run the test plan following the on-screen prompts to correct the vehicle problem.
