Head-up Display is Inoperative
MODEL
E60, E61 (5 Series Sedan and Sports Wagon) equipped with Head-up Display (SA610)
E63, E64 (6 Series Coupe and Convertible) equipped with Head-up Display (SA610)
SITUATION
The Head-up Display (HUD) is inoperative after having not been used for a long period of time.
CAUSE
The Head-up Display shutter is stuck in the closed position.
CORRECTION
Free the stuck display shutter.
PROCEDURE
Do not replace any parts.
