Interior - Ashtray Cover Gets Stuck or Doesn't Latch

Ashtray Cover Sticking
MODEL
E60, E61 (5 Series Sedan and Sports Wagon)
SITUATION
The front edge of the ashtray cover gets stuck when it is fully open~ or it may not latch closed. In addition, the cigarette lighter may be loose.
CAUSE
The ashtray mechanism release spring has detached from its mount.
CORRECTION
Modify and reattach the socket and release spring.
PROCEDURE
No parts replacement is necessary.
