Initialization of the Top View Camera



MODEL



F01, F02 (7 Series)



SITUATION



The display in the central information display (CID) for one or more of the three cameras used in the Top Rear Side View Camera (TRSVC) system



may appear upside down or simply not display any image.



No relevant fault codes are stored in the TRSVC module.



This situation typically occurs on new vehicles during the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) or after the electrical system of the car has been worked on.



CAUSE



One or more of the cameras have lost initialization.



PROCEDURE



Initialize the TRSVC system via ISTA/D, using the following procedure:



^ Perform a Vehicle Test.



^ Select the Service Function tab.



^ Select Body/Panorama Camera and then Start Search.



^ Select the test plan AS6653_TRSVCFX-Calibration, all-around vision camera.



^ Select Display.



^ Start the test plan.



During the calibration procedure, the cameras will be initialized.
