INFORMATION



[NEW] The three illustrations below will identify the seven sub connectors within the two DME main connectors. Using Illustration #1 will



determine the proper location of the sub connectors within the main connectors. Illustrations # 2 or # 3 (depending on the model) will identify the



sub connector locations on BMW Special Tool 61 2 420/422.



Special Tool 61 2 420/422, Break Out Box overlays, are used in conjunction with adaptor cable 12 7 420/421, 612 420/421 and break out box 61 4



380/381. These special tools are utilized on all vehicles equipped with the following DME variants and the models described above:
