E89 (Z4 sDrive 3.0i and Z4 sDrive 3.5i) with N52K and N54 engines produced from 2/1/2009 and up to 12/31/2009

The customer complains that a whistling or howling noise is heard in the passenger compartment while driving at road speed.
CAUSE
The noise is caused by fuel system pulsations due to unfavorable fuel pump pressure limiting valve mechanical tolerances.
PROCEDURE
Replace the fuel pump in accordance with Repair Instruction REP 16 14 015 Removing and installing/replacing fuel pump.
