Satellite Radio: Favorite Cannot Be Stored in Certain Cases
MODEL
INFORMATION
On the abovementioned models, the satellite receiver (SDARS) is integrated into the head unit (CIC and RAD2+).
With the new generation satellite receiver, it is possible to store 30 favorites in the "Favorites list".
SITUATION
In certain cases, the displayed "Artist" and "Title" information cannot be stored in the menu "Favorites". Only the "Channel" can be stored

This occurs only on XM channels that are transmitted from a different SIRIUSXM database.
CAUSE
SIRIUSXM has two different data bases for broadcasting SIRIUS and XM channels.
There are issues with broadcasting XM channels into the SIRIUS channel lineup.
CORRECTION
Do not replace parts! This is not a fault of the satellite receiver; therefore, no diagnosis is necessary.
SIRIUSXM is working on a solution. Please explain the current situation to the customer.
