SUBJECT
Doors Will Not Open or Close when Outside Temperature Is Below Freezing
MODEL
F01, F02, F04 (7 Series) from start of production through January 2, 2011
F07, F10 (5 Series) from start of production through January 2, 2011
SITUATION
The doors will not close or are too difficult to open.
CAUSE
The Bowden cable for the outside door handle has moisture inside. The water intrusion can freeze, making the door handle inoperative.
