Installation of Heating/Air Conditioning Fan

SITUATION
The screw brackets on the fan housing can be damaged when the heating/air conditioning fan is installed. This may cause the fan wheel to come into
contact with the housing.
This Service Information supplements Repair Instruction REP 64 11 212 (Removing and installing/replacing heater/air conditioner fan)
CAUSE
There is a gap between the mounting brackets during installation. Please review the attachment for further information.
PROCEDURE
In order to prevent damage when installing a heating/air conditioning fan~ follow the supplementary instructions in the attachment.

SITUATION
The low beam headlamps switch on spontaneously or stay on, even in daylight.
CAUSE
Normal operation

The issue has been integrated into ISTA diagnostics. In ISTA "Information search", select "Text search", then enter "Light sensor" as the search
term. Press "Start search", then select "FUB Rain/driving light sensor: restrictions due to technical features".

SITUATION
After the cruise control is deactivated by the brake, the disc pointer does not return to the zero position. The pointer only returns to the zero position
when the engine is turned off.
CAUSE
Instrument cluster software
CORRECTION
Using ISTA D2.23 or later, in "Guided Troubleshooting", select "02 Display, information, communication / 0207 instrument cluster", and then press
"Accept fault pattern / Calculate test plan". Select test plan W6211_WAS20 (Moving-disc instrument will not return to neutral position). Follow the
on-screen prompts to correct the condition.
