SUBJECT
Rattle Noise Coming From Behind the Radio and Center Vents

F01, F02 (7 Series)

SITUATION
When driving over poor road surfaces, a rattling noise can be heard coming from behind the CIC (Car Information Computer) and the
center vents.
CAUSE
The temperature sensor cable for the automatic heating and air conditioning system (IHKA) is contacting the CIC housing.
CORRECTION
Wrap the entire temperature sensor cable with felt tape and fasten it to the heater housing.
