Replacement HiFi Amplifier Is Not Accepted by ISTA/P 2.46.x

SITUATION
When replacing a HiFi amplifier, the part number of the replacement HiFi amplifier is not accepted by the programming and coding tool ISTA/P
(Integrated Service Technical Application Programming).
ISTA/P is incorrectly requesting a different part number.
CAUSE
Error in the ISTA/P software
CORRECTION
Before installing the replacement HiFi amplifier, request a modified VO (Vehicle Order) by submitting a PuMA Case with the following subject
line:
^ E7x HiFi amplifier replacement - ISTA/P 2.46.x
When the modified VO, including "+KAMP," is available and installed in the vehicle, perform the following steps:
1. Install the replacement HiFi amplifier.
2. Start a new ISTA/P session.
^ Answer "YES" when asked, "Have control units been replaced?"
3. Select CONVERSION.
4. In CONVERSION, select "Conversion replacement HiFi loudspeaker system."
5. Accept and carry out the measures plan (programming and coding).
6.Follow ISTA/P instructions to finish programming and coding.
Conversion
The conversion is an embedded part of the programming/encoding procedure that is required after a HiFi amplifier replacement, and therefore
cannot be claimed separately.
