Check Control Message "High Beam Assistant Failed"

Vehicles produced from 9/30/09 up to 9/29/10 with option 5AC
SITUATION
After starting the vehicle, a check control message "FLA (High Beam Assistant) faulty" is displayed and the function cannot be activated. At the
same time, fault code E596 is stored in the FRM_70 (Footwell control module).
After driving for approximately 5 minutes, the function is available again.
CAUSE
Software error in the KAFAS (camera-based driver assistance system) control module

PROCEDURE
Do not replace any parts.
Program and code the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.38.1 or higher.
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
