SUBJECT
DWA Alarm System Is Partially Functional

Vehicles produced from 3/31/2010 to 9/29/2010 with option 302 (Alarm System)
SITUATION
The DWA (Anti-theft Alarm System) is only partially functional. The tilt alarm protection and acoustic signal for interior motion detection do not
function. After the vehicle is locked, the alarm indicator LED flashes on and off for 10 seconds before entering flash mode (system armed).
Fault code "9D00" is entered into the FZD (Roof Functions Center).
CAUSE
There is a fault in the SINE (Alarm Siren). The fault can occur after the power supply is interrupted. The SINE is no longer identified during a
vehicle test.
